THE GREAT FABRIC CLEAROUT ~

 

With over a decade in business, I have accumulated a rather large selection of fabric off cuts, not enough to make dresses but enough to make corsets.....

 

And with the current economic pinch in mind, it seems the perfect time to do so.

 

Over the next few months I will be turning silk brocades, duchess's, taffetas, velvets & lace into simple, sample sized 10 / 12 corsets & offering them for sale, as each one is completed, on this page of my site.

The corsets will be beautifully sculpted, couture quality, simple, unadorned designs perfect as a centrepiece to a gown design, as evening corsets or for the bride or her dressmaker to adorn themselves into a one off masterpiece.

The concept is that the corset will form the centrepiece of the client's gown & that the Bride will source a dressmaker to create skirt, sleeves & add adornment to the corset with lace, flowers, beads etc. to create their dream gown.

*These corsets are only available to members of the public & will not be sold to other businesses/designers to form part of their collections or as part of more expensive designs to sell on.

 

ADDITIONAL FABRICS:

A corset, however, does not a dress make so once you have purchased your corset from me & worked out a design & meterage with whomever is going to create the rest of your gown. I will help you source matching/blending fabrics which you can purchase from myself at keen prices to complete your design.
